Text Message Program

Milestone GME sends text message notifications to members of graduate medical education programs who choose to receive them. This page describes that program.

Who receives messages. Program directors, coordinators, faculty evaluators, and trainees in residency and fellowship programs that use Milestone GME, who have individually opted in. We do not send texts to anyone who has not opted in, and we never add phone numbers on anyone's behalf.

What we send. Rotation schedule changes, requests to complete an evaluation, and deadline reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Messages come from (877) 560-6950 and begin with "Milestone GME."

How often. Message frequency varies and is typically fewer than 10 messages per month.

How you opt in. You enter your own mobile number and check an unchecked consent box, in one of two places: the Text Message Notifications section of your account settings, or an optional page linked from the confirmation screen after you complete an evaluation. The consent language beside the box reads:

I agree to receive text messages from Milestone GME about my training program, including schedule changes, evaluation requests, and deadline reminders. Message frequency varies, and is typically fewer than 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent isn't a condition of using Milestone GME. How you opt out. Reply STOP to any message. You can also use Turn off texts in your account settings, or email info@milestonegme.com. Reply START to opt back in.

Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
